Retired Police Chief, brother Nealy R. “Chet” Ballew. Chet retired as Police Chief in 1996 from the Pontoon Beach Police Department after 25 years of dedicated service to the community. In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until time of a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Masonic Services and a Pass in review from the Pontoon Beach Police will be held.
