On Jan 4th 2025 at Elmhurst the 006-NE District is hosting an Assembly for education event, the flyer will be included as well. The event is not required by Officers to attend, but we certainly hope they will be interested to see,  especially after the guys you have New or Old that you think need some inspiring event to get them energized, they will see the lodge opened by area Instructors, without explanation, on each degree lectures will be given, EA's and FC's will have to retire before moving up, but this event will be great for them, after the 1st, I will come down and begin preparing for lunch. When the lodge closes approx 11:30 or noon we will have Lunch prepared with donations appreciated.

After the EA's retire and take a short break, they will be given some further knowledge or a lodge etiquette discussion. A bit later the FC's will come down, and be able to take a break, talk or go out and smoke.

Please mention this event at the next meeting and ask 1 brother to act as a liaison and email or text RWBro John Madl with those interested in coming, Im not taking formal RSVP's just let me know an approx' number, we want to open this up to the area, but i'd like to insure those of the 6th have the 1st chance as it's at Elmhurst. Brethren will be coming from around the area as 2 lecturers are from the 5th NE, another from the 8th and many guys have already shown the desire to attend.

A flyer is included, please share with your brethren, it may be a fellow who has not been around lately may care to come to this.

I have one further favor, besides Elmhurst, who is allowing me use of the Temple, if one Lodge can donate buying donuts, and another lodge donate buying or preparing coffee and having water on hand, for the brethren in the morning.

I'll only be asking for donations for lunch to help offset the cost.
